Orange You Glad It's Purim

The Purim holiday has passed and Passover is right around the corner, but I wanted to share with readers our Mishloch Manot idea from this year.  We decided to go with a color theme: Orange.   Since we used all non-perishable items, we were able to shop and package our baskets a couple of weeks prior to the holiday.  This save precious time and created a no-stress Purim.

Here are few photos:

In our neighborhood, there were a lot of adorable themes.  The local school did an amazing "Green" Mishloch Manot package with so many helpful household products and food items.  It's nice to see creativity and thoughtfulness behind this meaningful tradition.

Purim is Next Week...Ideas to Inspire

Purim is next Thursday, March 7th and 8th.  This year, I've decided to host my own Purim Seudah (festive meal).  I've chosen my colors, purple and silver, and gathered some of my favorite materials and decorations to create a fun and festive table for the holiday.

I made the purple table runner yesterday after gaining inspiration from a Google link on how to make a no sew table runner.  The whole project took about 45 minutes!

Wishing you a very joyous Purim filled with fun, family and festivities.
